In an exclusive preview for MTV News, Rotten Tomatos gives a high-octane review of Rattle and Humor, the third season of the critically acclaimed comedy series that premieres Friday night on Lifetime.
Rattle and Hammers is set in a fictional version of the 1960s where an aspiring comedian named Rattle learns that he can become a giant turtle.
The series stars Zach Galifianakis, Amy Poehler, Paul F. Tompkins, Rob Schneider, Bill Hader, Jason Sudeikis, Paul Rudd, Kate McKinnon, Jason Isaacs, Tim Meadows, and John Goodman.
It is directed by Steve Coogan and executive produced by Steve McQueen and Dan Gilroy.
“Rattle & Humor has captured my heart with its blend of irreverent comedy, emotional storytelling and hilarious characters,” Rattle & Hammers’ co-creator and executive producer Ben Sasse said in a statement.
“As the show continues to evolve, I can’t wait to see where the next chapter takes us.”
The show has become a cult favorite, garnering more than 5 million views on YouTube.
